2024AW Pre-Collection “Cotton Linen OX”
2024AWプレコレクションを、8月9日（金）よりARTS＆SCIENCEの各ショップで展開いたします。A&Sにおける定番生地のアウターやパンツ、シャツなど幅広いアイテムが揃います。プレコレクションで頻繁に登場する2種類の定番生地について、アイテムとともにご紹介いたします。
Cotton linen OX / Vintage white
Cotton linen OX*（コットンリネンオックス）は、A&Sの生地づくりの礎を代弁するブランドの顔とも言える生地のひとつです。時代や性別を問わないスタンダードな生地で、ヴィンテージウェアに見られる経年変化で生じる味わい深い白を表現しています。タテに糸染めしたラベンダー色の細い綿糸と、晒した太い綿糸を一本交互で配し、ヨコにはやや黄色味を帯びたリネンの晒糸を合わせ特殊な織機で織り上げています。色合いを複雑に絡ませつつ、一見無地のようでいて無地ではない、独特な奥行きと陰影が感じられる趣のある生地です。
2024AWプレコレクションではドレスやシャツのほか、定番のバンダナやハンカチに新色となるDark grayが加わります。9月にはメインコレクションが店頭に並ぶ予定で、順次店頭でご紹介するアイテムが変わってまいります。皆さまのご来店を心よりお待ちいたしております。
