PROFILE
Stephan Janson
Born in France in 1957, Stephan Janson is a fashion designer who divides his time between Milan and Tangier. With a lifelong passion for clothing and a dream of haute couture, he faced obstacles due to his strict upbringing, which prevented him from initially pursuing a career in fashion. Despite this, he spent nights creating garments while attending school. Influenced heavily by Yves Saint Laurent, Janson accumulated experience over many years working with prestigious brands in France, Italy, and the United States. He founded his own brand in Milan in 1989. Renowned for his skillful draping and tailoring, his collections harmonize comfort with a refined elegance. His garments, all made from Italian fabrics, are meticulously cut to fit the female body. A&S has been featuring his collections since 2009.
