Hobonichi Techo Planner 2025

The Hobonichi Techo Planner is the English version of the “Hobonichi Techo.” Launched in 2013 after two years of development under the creative direction of Sonya Park, the owner of Arts & Science, the planner has become a staple for English-speaking users worldwide. The design retains the essence of the original Japanese version, with a matte-textured cover featuring the kanji characters for “Techo” (meaning “planner” in Japanese) elegantly stamped in gold foil. Cherished by people around the world, this planner allows everyone to enjoy it in their own way, regardless of nationality.

This year again, we have crafted an original planner cover exclusively available at select A&S stores for the Hobonichi Techo Planner. Made from vegetable-tanned, full-grain Kip leather, it is dyed only on the surface with pigment. The edges are left undyed to showcase the natural color of the leather. The shrink treatment gives it a rich texture with a prominent grain and a matte finish. Its minimal design blends seamlessly into various settings, and the built-in magnets at both ends ensure smooth and easy opening and closing.
