Portraits of ARTS&SCIENCE Aoyama

These moments were documented by Photographer Takashi Homma

In Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, five A&S shops are dotted around the area on either side of the intersection known as “Nezu Museum-mae.” No one knows who started calling it this, but the area apparently goes by ARTS&SCIENCE, Block 1, Lot 1. A single loop through this area—no more than a few minutes on foot—takes in the women’s flagship store, unisex clothing, crafts, daily necessities, and natural wine and food, and lets you experience nearly the entire worldview A&S proposes, along with its very essence.
