A&S 2026AW – Cashmere Shawl

The cashmere shawl is crafted from twill fabric woven with 100% hand-spun cashmere yarn. The fabric is slowly woven on a foot-treadle shuttle loom, bringing out the soft texture unique to hand-spun yarn. By operating the loom by hand and foot rather than using a motor, the fabric is woven without placing undue stress on it, resulting in a soft, full-bodied texture. The natural color is left undyed, preserving the color of the raw wool itself.

The name tag features embroidery with a handmade look. The embroidery uses four colors—white, black, brown, and red—which are combined according to each shawl.

This season, we offer three designs: the Trio Color Shawl, Fringe Shawl, and Square Scarf.

The Trio Color Shawl is a three-color shawl produced each season in a new combination of colors. This season, it comes in two colorways: a natural base with olive and blue, and a red base with pink and burgundy.

The Fringe Shawl comes in two patterns, solid and checked. Its slightly smaller size is carefully balanced to make it easy to wear, regardless of gender.

The Square Scarf also comes in two patterns, solid and checked. The size of both the scarf and tassels has been reconsidered, resulting in proportions suited to a wide range of ages. The tassels serve as a design accent while also providing just the right amount of weight to help keep the scarf stable when wrapped.
