A&S 2025SS – Pure Shoulder

Pure Shoulder is a cowhide leather crafted by a long-established tannery in Italy’s Tuscany region. The camel color is achieved using the traditional vacchetta method, which relies solely on vegetable tannins. The leather is then dyed and enriched with sego oil, resulting in a soft, supple texture. After being dyed in a natural tone, it is intentionally left unfinished, allowing the true character of the leather to come through.

The four colors—Vintage white, Pale blue, Beige, and Honey yellow—are made from cowhide leather that has been tanned using a traditional white tanning method. This technique, which relies solely on water, salt, and rapeseed oil, results in a pure white base that maximizes the leather’s ability to showcase its vibrant colors. The result is a collection of bright, spring-summer-inspired hues.

The white-tanned leathers (Vintage white, Pale blue, Beige, Honey yellow) are characterized by their soft texture and natural transformation over time, gradually shifting to a warm, yellowish tone. In contrast, the leather created through the vacchetta method (Camel) has a firmer texture and develops into a rich, deep brown color. Due to slight variations in dye absorption, there may be subtle color differences between parts, but we invite you to appreciate these as natural changes in the leather’s unique character.
