H Vegan Bento Director: Hiroko Shiraishi
Shiraishi relocated to France in 2004 and adopted a vegan diet following a serious illness. As she continued to create vegan meals, she wanted to introduce more people to the pleasures of vegan cuisine. In the autumn of 2019, she experimented with vegan bento boxes during Paris Fashion Week. The positive reception spread by word-of-mouth, leading her to provide Japanese-style vegan catering at fashion industry events, including photo shoots and backstage at Paris Fashion Week.
