A&S 2026AW – Cashmere Cotton Yarn
ARTS&SCIENCE stores are currently presenting the 2026 Autumn/Winter Collection. Among the various knits offered throughout the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter seasons, we are featuring Cashmere Cotton Yarn, crafted in Gosen City, Niigata Prefecture, one of Japan’s leading knitwear-producing regions. These pieces are comfortable to wear across the seasons.
Cashmere Cotton Yarn / Dark Forest Green
Cashmere Cotton Yarn is crafted from yarn produced by a “fancy yarn” manufacturer based in Tuscany, Italy, specializing in yarns made from high-quality natural materials. It combines a heavy-gauge Eco Cashmere yarn made from recycled cashmere, collected from manufacturing scraps, cotton waste, and previously worn cashmere garments, then unraveled and spun again, with cotton yarn dyed in the same color. The two yarns are knitted together at a medium gauge at a factory in Gosen City, Niigata Prefecture, one of Japan’s leading knitwear-producing regions.
With a high cashmere content of 50%, the material has a soft, rich hand while remaining light and comfortable to wear. Well suited to the changing seasons, it can be worn over an extended period.
Cashmere Cotton Yarn has featured in A&S collections on numerous occasions. This season, it is offered in three designs, with Raspberry and Dark Forest Green added as new colors. We invite you to discover them in store.
