An exhibition and sale of IFUJI, the brand created by woodwork craftsman Masashi Ifuji, is currently being held at ARTS & SCIENCE Zaimokuza Kamakura.
Each IFUJI wooden piece is carved individually from a large block of timber and carefully finished entirely by hand. At A&S Zaimokuza, we are currently presenting the brand’s signature Oval Boxes, along with boxes finished in Sando Kuro (three layers of black lacquer) and Kusaki-zome (plant-based natural dye), as well as ARTS & SCIENCE exclusive versions in Black Walnut and White Paint. Trays and other tableware items are also available.
These pieces are created with the belief that they are “objects truly needed in everyday life.” We invite you to explore the pieces in person at the shop.
