Snow
A series that expresses the fleeting, delicate beauty of snow, with fine textures engraved on both the front and back. Countless small crystals accumulate and eventually form an entirely white landscape. Because the collection was created with this scene in mind, it was named “Snow” rather than “Snowflake.” The series also includes items that use original hexagonal parts—inspired by crystal structures—as the fastening components.
Star
Earrings inspired by stars sparkling in the night sky. To capture stars shining in a variety of colors, a wide range of materials is used, including platinum, yellow gold, pink gold, green gold, and white gold. Though the motifs are small, giving them volume ensures a distinct presence when they catch the light.
Shooting Star
A line of light that streaks across the night sky for only a moment. These earrings are designed with the image of a star’s brilliance that disappears in the blink of an eye. They come in two shapes, long and short, and are available in single-metal versions—platinum, green gold, yellow gold, or pink gold—as well as a design that combines all four metals in a gradient to form a single line. Each time they catch the light, they offer a complex, radiant sparkle and a play of shifting colors at the ear.
PROFILE
Pfütze means “puddle” in German. The duo of Yasutaka Kita and Ayako Kaku handle all design and production themselves, deriving motifs from familiar natural objects and phenomena. With the desire for people to enjoy the inherent colors of metal, they intentionally do not use gemstones or other stones, working exclusively with materials such as 18K gold, platinum 900, and silver 925.
