Pippa Small

The ethical jewelry brand Pippa Small will make its debut at A&S Marunouchi and Aoyama. Known for creating jewelry described as “protective charms for modern life,” the collection is crafted using 90% recycled gold and traditional craftsmanship techniques from around the world.

Pippa has been designing jewelry for more than 30 years and is dedicated to helping provide safe livelihoods in conflict regions around the world. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans. Her journey began with her ‘Jaipur Collection’, yet her passion for craftsmanship and ethical sourcing has guided her journey, continually seeking new ways to collaborate with artisans and communities around the world. Her collections now include the ‘Colombia Collection,’ made from ethically sourced gold and emeralds, the ‘Palestine Collection,’ inspired by olive leaves and crafted using traditional casting and goldsmithing techniques, and the ‘Turquoise Mountain Collection,’ created in collaboration with communities in Afghanistan, Jordan, and Myanmar. Through these exquisite designs, Pippa Small actively supports and sustains community initiatives in these regions.

Koh-i-Noor Collection

The latest collection, ‘Koh-i-Noor,’ is, as the name suggests, inspired by the legendary 200-carat diamond, once considered the largest in the world. Mined in the renowned Golconda region of India, the diamond’s name comes from Persian, meaning ‘Mountain of Light,’ and its original cut was celebrated for its mesmerizing beauty. Pippa Small reimagines this iconic cut using stones that capture the clarity of pure water, including aquamarine, green quartz, and rainbow moonstone. The striking and powerful pieces in this collection embody the spirit of the original masterpiece.

Herkimer Diamonds, a type of crystal found in Herkimer, New York, are known for their exceptional clarity and brilliance, thus earning them their name. Characterized by their double-terminated shape, with pointed ends and perfectly flat surfaces resembling faceted crystal, these Herkimer Diamonds are truly a product of nature’s wonders. As Pippa Small describes, ‘The Herkimer collection is like a gathering of light, purity, and the natural brilliance of the earth.’ These pieces are indeed nothing short of miraculous. We will feature a special capsule collection of Herkimer Diamonds.
