“HAS NOT” HAS (shirt by H. made by A&S)

〈by H.〉 was launched by stylist Michio Hayashi in 2020 SS. The brand was established based on Hayashi’s wishes to “create shirts with a playful spirit that even adults can enjoy.” Hayashi’s concept, 〈Part of Landscape〉, stresses that clothes are part of the background. Hayashi, who has worked as a pattern maker, draws the patterns and crafts the silhouettes and cuttings on his own, and by H. proposes items that can be worn by both men and women every season.
A&S has been presenting the by H. collection at &SHOP since its debut, and in 2021, the first collaboration was realized, featuring four styles of items that incorporated A&S’s archival fabrics into by H. collection items.
HAS (shirt by H made by A&S) is by H. and A&S’s second collaboration. For this project, Hayashi devised a completely original shirt design and developed a pattern exclusively for A&S. Based on this, six styles of shirts were created using A&S’s original fabric and production line.
