About the Plant Dyeing

Plant dyeing is a method which uses natural dye obtained from plants. This technique, which has been used since ancient times, has developed thanks to technological researches and a whole new door to dyeing has opened recently. One example of is the plant dyeing using machines. Compared to hand-dyeing, machine-dyeing is unique for its stable and more unified finish as well as its excellent color fastness. Only a few factories have the ability to use this technique.

The machine-dyeing technique is thoroughly used in our 2020SS collection to develop items using various dyes such as houjicha (roasted tea) and laurier leaves. Please visit our stores to see the deep and various color expressions which are unique to plant dyeing.
