The fabrics from the Arts & Science’s original collection is developed from scratch every season. We are collaborating with designers to make new styles and expressions with our special A&S archive fabrics. This time, we would like to introduce the items made with ＜by H.＞ that will be released in Tokyo and Kyoto from Friday, November 12th.
＜by H.＞ is a brand started by stylist Michio Hayashi from Spring/Summer 2020. The brand is particular especially about patterns and cutting, and each collection is presented with a unique feeling, finely crafting their silhouettes and details. From the Autumn/Winter 2021 collection we have chosen to develop together four styles; the RPC blouson, Back roll shirt, Dimensional sweats, and Wide tapered pants. All items are made with our A&S archive fabrics; thus, the productions are made in limited quantities.
RPC Blouson
A reversible blouson. Although the ultra-fine merino wool is a dense fabric, the yarn-dyed chambray cotton combination gives the blouson a light weight impression. The collar can be changed depending on your mood. We recommend this unisex look for women as well as an oversized look, to enjoy its unique silhouette.

Back Roll Shirt
By rolling up the hem at the back, you can enjoy an alternative silhouette. The inverted pleats give the pattern a rounded silhouette when viewed from the side. We have chosen fabric made from Shetland wool produced by traditional spinning machines.

Dimentional Sweat

At first glance, this style looks like a basic sweatshirt, but the design fits the body in a special way made by a particular cutting by draping. Comfortableness is pursued to wear in your everyday wardrobe. We have chosen fabric of extra-thick fleece fabric made from selected Indian ultra-long cotton.

Profile
by H. was established by stylist Michio Hayashi. Her first collection began from Spring/Summer 2020. The collection is presented with a unique sensation, with particular craftmanship. When the first models of each styles are created the patterns, cutting, working out the balance, details and crafting the silhouette are all done by hand.
