After three years of research, the final shape of the beaker was made with two flower-shaped legs on the bottom that angles with the third base being the body of the vessel. The beaker naturally tilts and you can look into the inside. Please take a look at the items through this blind auction titled, “A Journey’s End.”
Included with each auctioned piece is a Japanese-style booklet in a box, bound by karakami craftsman Koh Kado of KAMISOE, which traces the history of “The Age of the beaker.” This special set with the booklet is only available at this auction. Bids will be accepted on the special online page and at the exhibited gallery spaces.
