The subject of this exhibition, “akari” (light), is a theme that the artist has been developing for over five years, and this marks the first time it will be presented as a functional “tool.” The oil lamp embodies the artist’s wish that, while small, it will gently illuminate someone’s table or dining table. Alongside the new works, the exhibition will feature new wind chimes, meticulously crafted with a focus on sound and the quality of the glass, as well as clear glass pieces. We look forward to your visit.
