Contrary to what one might expect, woven innerwear is surprisingly difficult to find. As part of the Home Collection’s approach to creating its pieces, these have been made continuously over many years, with careful consideration given to the materials and construction.

Woven Innerwear is made with a relaxed pattern and lightweight woven fabrics, with the aim of offering a different feel from stretch materials. The natural space that forms between the skin and fabric allows air to circulate, making the pieces feel light and comfortable to wear even in hot weather—the greatest appeal of Woven Innerwear. With an emphasis on being “comfortable and beautiful to wear,” every piece is made in Japan, from the development of the fabric through to sewing.

The neckline and shoulder areas have also been carefully considered so that the pieces blend naturally with A&S original clothing, making them easy to wear with tops and dresses with open necklines, while maintaining a beautiful appearance even when visible. The bust area is constructed with two layers, with careful attention paid to every detail so that the innerwear is less likely to affect the overall appearance of the outfit.
