A&S Home Collection – Stretch Innerwear

Since its earliest days, A&S has continued to create homewear and household items with the wish to create “pajamas and towels we ourselves would be satisfied with.” In 2015, we launched the Home Collection, reexamining feel against the skin, comfort, and ease of use, and continue creating pieces that accompany daily life.

Innerwear was also born from this same philosophy. As garments worn close to the skin, we have always placed importance on creating pieces that can be worn comfortably. The materials, developed exclusively for A&S, are primarily high-quality cotton and silk, with careful consideration given not only to their softness against the skin, but also to stretch, breathability, and the overall comfort they provide. Through repeated prototyping and testing—from the selection of yarns and knitting structures to finishing methods—we strive to create innerwear that can be worn naturally as part of everyday life while preserving the inherent character of the fabric. From fabric development through to sewing, every piece is carefully crafted in Japan.

In spring and summer, sheer fabrics are often used in clothing. To complement these styles, we also offer a pink beige shade that blends naturally with the skin and is less likely to show through outer garments. This nuanced color is unique to A&S.

All of these pieces feature excellent stretch, a soft feel against the skin, and a comfortable fit, supporting everyday wear. In Vol. 2, we will introduce innerwear crafted from woven fabrics.
