DOWN THE STAIRS / 2ND FLOOR T-shirt
The uniform T-shirts for ARTS&SCIENCE’s dining spaces, DOWN THE STAIRS and 2ND FLOOR, are now available. Designed by Naomi Hirabayashi, they were originally created for staff use but will also be available for purchase at both locations for everyone to enjoy wearing.
Art director Naomi Hirabayashi designed these special T-shirts for DOWN THE STAIRS in Aoyama, Tokyo, and 2ND FLOOR in Zaimokuza, Kamakura. As she also created the original logos for both spaces, this collaboration came together naturally. Based on A&S’s original Relax Pocket T-shirt 2, the design features a subtle update: the pocket has been placed slightly higher for a more balanced look. The white T-shirt for DOWN THE STAIRS features its signature dark red logo, while the 2ND FLOOR version comes with black lettering. Both black T-shirts share the same color scheme, with white lettering printed on a black base. We invite you to take a closer look at the pictograms printed on the back—each one a thoughtful detail unique to its location.
