Oil Deer / Black
Oil Deer is made from New Zealand deer hides and chrome-tanned in Japan. Each hide is meticulously crafted individually by a tannery specializing in deer leather. In finishing, surface treatments are kept minimal, bringing out the leather’s natural softness and plump, supple texture.
With a natural grain and moderate thickness, the leather is remarkably light and supple to the touch. Durable and designed to be broken in, it softens and adapts to the hand with daily use. Over time, the texture becomes even smoother, and the pronounced grain gradually settles, developing a rich, nuanced character.
