Time for a book!
From Friday, November 20th, on our online Pop-Up Shop, we will introduce all 21 types of book covers especially made for Arts & Science under the concept of "making reading time more enjoyable." At Over the Counter in Tokyo, you can see a large selection of our lineup in person, and at HIN in Kyoto, a selection of the covers will be on display with an option of items that can be pre-ordered.

This project was born from an episode of a book cover purchase from one of our customers who loves to enjoy reading. The project was done by gathering original ideas of book covers from people who love books, focusing on several key concepts such as “Making reading time more enjoyable,” and “Clothes to dress your books.”

We asked four brands specifically that have a close relationship to Arts & Science, to create these concepts into actual form, and we have prepared them in two sizes: a paperback and hardcover size in Japanese measurement, all of which are especially customized for Arts & Science exculsively. We are also offering a made-to-order cover that combines leather and bamboo in collaboration with bamboo artist Masaaki Iijima x ARTS & SCIENCE. We understand the nature that there are many different size standards for books. Our specifically designed “Clothes to dress your books,” adapts a variety of size options as the book covers are made to accommodate various thicknesses.
