The Sulfur Dyed Denim Light fabric is produced in Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture, a region renowned for its denim craftsmanship. The fabric is made using thick yarns for the warp and finer, varied yarns for the weft, resulting in a smooth and elegant finish. Its unique texture is achieved through the rope dyeing technique applied to the warp, utilizing sulfur dyes, which imparts a distinctive character that cannot be replicated with other dyes. At A&S, we offer jackets and pants made from this exceptional denim. The color options include Light gray, which has a naturally finished look, and Blue gray, a rich hue that ages elegantly over time. We invite you to view them in-store.

 
*Rope Dyeing: A traditional method for dyeing denim. The warp yarns are gathered and dyed in a thick, rope-like formation using machinery.
*Sulfur Dye: A synthetic dye commonly used in coloring, particularly effective for achieving vintage effects and other distinctive finishes.

This relaxed fit design features a deeper rise and a comfortably roomy waist. The waist is designed with an elastic band and drawstring for an easy fit.

The shoulders and chest have a slightly relaxed fit, creating a comfortable and effortless silhouette. It also works beautifully as a set.

These wide full-length pants, buttoned on the side, feature a cleanly finished front. They create a light and elegant look when paired with shorter blouses or knits.
