Arts & Science Aoyama and & SHOP Kyoto is starting a new service for fragrance brand Perfumer H, from Tuesday, December 15th.
Perfumer H’s handblown glass bottles and candle jars are made by British glass artist Michael Ruh. When perfumer Lyn Harris first met Michael, the first most important point she discussed with him was about the colours. The color palette was developed through trial and error, and were finalized to match the image of each scent. The special characteristics lie in the individual handblown processes and there are all one of a kind differences in slight colour and size.
These glass bottles and jars are made with the concept that they should not be discarded when used – they are made to last a lifetime. Flagship shop Perfumer H, located in Melbourne, London, offers a service of pouring refills into customer’s used candle jars. Arts & Science will like to stay true to their concept and has been preparing to start the same service in Japan. We will accept request for candle refills of our candle fragrance selections that we offer in Japan.
- We will need an official Perfumer H candle jar that has been burned through.
- The service is limited to the fragrances sold by A&S. Refills will only be possible for the same fragrance as the specific candle jars.
- Drop-offs and pick-ups are only accepted at the shops. Candle requests sent by post are not accepted.
- In order to check the used status and scratches of your jars, we will take an image of the entire surface at the time of drop-off.
- Refills can be made in roughly one month from drop-off to delivery. Depending on the stock levels, irregular cases may take more than one month.
