She graduated from the School of Letters, Arts, and Sciences II at Waseda University, where she specialized in aesthetics and Western art history. While at university, she began creating accessories using antique beads. After graduation, she pursued her passion for jewelry making and apprenticed with a metalworking artisan. In 2012, she launched her jewelry brand, muska. In 2018, she founded The Sixth Night Inc.
