At 18, he was first introduced to glassmaking at Akita University of Art and Design, where he became fascinated by the fluid transformations of glass. He graduated from the Toyama Glass Art Institute in 2012. Currently, he is associated with Akita Araya Glass Studio, where he independently handles the entire creation process of his works. He emphasizes the uniqueness and character that emerge from handcrafted items.
