Friday October 6th, the new autumn\/winter 2023 collection by by H. will be available at &SHOP Kyoto. At the same timing as this launch, designer Michio Hayashi will introduce a series of remade vintage clothing. The series are all one-off pieces and are expressed from his unique perspective and interpretation.

by H. is a brand launched by stylist Michio Hayashi beginning from his 2020SS collection. The concept of the brand was “shirts with a playful spirit that adults can enjoy to wear.” The concept was ‘PART OF LANDSCAPE’, meaning that clothes are part of a landscape. Hayashi draws his own patterns, crafts the silhouettes and cutting, and proposes items that can be worn by both men and women each season.<\/p>\n

A&S has introduced their collection at &SHOP since its debut in 2021. Designer Michio Hayashi graduated from Bunka Fashion College and worked as a patterner for an apparel brand prior to becoming a stylist. Remaking is an attempt he has continued since his days as a student, dismantling vintage clothes from tailors and brands and exploring the tailoring. Hayashi says that this is a unique and interesting activity in which he reconstructs the garments by adding his own elements, experiencing \u201clines that have ingenuity,\u201d and other discoveries and surprises along the way.<\/p>\n

At this timing, we introduce a collection of remade items, consisting of mainly outerwear such as jackets and coats, at &SHOP Kyoto. New items from his original collection by H. will also be launching.
