STORY by H. is a brand established by stylist Michio Hayashi in the 2020 Spring\/Summer season. It was conceived from his desire to create playful shirts that adults could enjoy, with the concept PART OF LANDSCAPE, signifying that clothing is an essential part of the surrounding environment. Drawing on his experience as a pattern maker, Hayashi personally creates each pattern, refining the silhouettes and cuts to offer versatile, gender-neutral pieces each season.
\nA&S has featured STORY by H. at &SHOP since its debut, and in 2021, the two brands collaborated for the first time. This collaboration resulted in pieces that incorporated A&S’s archival fabrics into by H.\u2019s designs.
\nThe most recent development in this collaboration is the creation of HAS (shirt by H. made by A&S). For this project, Hayashi developed the shirt designs and patterns from the concept stage, and A&S used our original fabrics and production expertise to bring the pieces to life.<\/p>\n
