HIN Arts & Science Nijodori Kyoto welcomes the Scottish artist, Domenica More Gordon for an exclusive event, ＜Noble Dogs＞. The event will feature felt-made pieces in English attires of the late 1800s. More Gordon’s short film can also be seen during this limited period.
“As a child I had an intense relationship with old, handmade toys. They felt like wise, funny, loyal friends and lived with me in a world which at times was more real than the actual one. It was a place full of charm, humour and light: in Noble Dogs I’ve tried to recreate that past world and feeling by using antique fabric and materials where ever possible. I have enjoyed every minute making it, and hope you enjoy it as much as I have.” – Domenica More Gordon
